Elephant House is once again partnering with the Deyata Kirula national development exhibition, which will be held in Ampara from 23 to 29 March 2013, to make available at the event its brand of ice cream, food and soft drinks, including consumer favourite KIK Cola. Elephant House has maintained an annual presence at Deyata Kirula ever since the first exhibition in 2006.

Each year, the exhibition aims to develop a platform for products and services from over 1,000 Government, private and international organisations. The country’s past, present as well as future development activities are also on display.

Proceeds from Deyata Kirula 2013 are to be channelled towards developing the Hardy Science and Technology Institute, enabling it to complete major renovations and establish several new computer laboratories. As a result, Elephant House will be supporting to this worthy cause through the extension of their sponsorship. Commenting on Elephant House’s ongoing partnership with Deyata Kirula, the Elephant House Frozen Confectionery Head Neil Samarasinghe said: “We are pleased to continue our association with the Deyata Kirula exhibition, which attracts millions each year. The proceeds from this year will benefit the students of the area, giving them an opportunity to equip themselves better for successful careers.”
