Etisalat Lanka provides telecom aid for flood victims

Etisalat Lanka has taken the initiative to provide free reloads for Pre-paid customers and provide an increase in credit limits for Post-paid customers who have been affected by the natural disaster that has hit Sri Lanka. One main issue faced is obtaining reloads and recharge cards in flood affected areas. To address this, Etisalat has opened up a toll free number 722 for those affected to call and obtain free credit.

Customers can dial the ‘722’ to receive 10 minutes talk time to any Etisalat number and 5 minutes talk time to other networks free of charge. This service is available only for the flood affected areas.

Additionally, Etisalat customers can gift credit from their Etisalat wallet to a friend who is affected and Etisalat has waived off the transaction fee for this service. To gift credit dial *345.
