Exemplary unity at Borella Ahadiyya School event

Maligawatte Sri Saddharmaramaya Temple Viharadipathi Ven. Giragama Sagara Thero was Chief Guest at the Meelad un Nabi and awarding ceremony of prefect badges for the selected prefects of the Borella Ahadiyya School held at the Al Hijra Maha Vidyalaya Hall, Colombo recently.

The school Principal Shibly Hashim welcomed the Chief Guest and delivered the welcome speech at the function.

During the event Ven. Giragama Sagara Thero pinned on badges on the newly elected prefects.

Addressing the gathering Ven. Sagara Thero stated that all the communities should live in peace and harmony. Daham Passal education is very important because children could learn their religion and practice daily life. He requested the children to respect the parents and wished all the students and their parents a bright future.

State Minister of Integration A.H.M. Fowzie, Hashim Omar, Moulavi C.B.M. Hafeel, distinguished invitees, teachers and a large gathering of children with their parents were present at this event.
