The students and staff of Hejaaz International School had organized a walk from their school premises to Dehiwela junction to mark World Environment Day recently.
The main focus of this walk would be to create awareness among residents towards enhancing the city’s aesthetic beauty and sanitary level there by making it one of the best cities in Sri –Lanka.
The walk mainly targets at getting the citizens of the area to get more involved with commitment to improve the city which is one of the most important cities in Sri – Lanka.
The students of Hejaaz International School carrying placards with environment messages and distributed leaflets to the public.
This programme will be inaugurated by Dehiwela Mount Lavinia Municipal Council Mayor Dhanasiri Amarathunga and the Deputy Mayor Kesaralal Gunasekara,
Director the School N.M.M. Hisbullah, Prinicipal Mrs. Zarina Hisbullah and Staff were present at this walk
