Hilton Colombo celebrated International Housekeeping Week with various events taking place from 15 to 19 September.
Housekeeping and Laundry departments play a vital role in the hospitality industry making sure all guests have fresh linen and clean rooms.
International Housekeeping Week is celebrated within the Hilton chain of hotels across the globe to recognise the hard work the team members put in, and to bring out their individual capabilities during the week long fun filled activities that were planned for this occasion.
The team members enjoyed the art and dance competition, dramas and trolley race, and the highlight being the CSR project; visiting a children’s home in Mount Lavinia and donating educational books and linen and providing entertainment for the afternoon. The children enjoyed the hospitality.
