HNB Assurance felicitates Sri Lankan legends

Sri Lankan legends being felicitated at the HNBA Sales Convention

Three veteran idols of yesteryear were felicitated for their commitment to the local music industry and sports. Vivian Borallesa, Rupa Indumathi and Sri Lankan sports personality, P.D. Sirisena, are the three artistes who were honoured for their lifetime’s service at HNB Assurance’s 10th annual sales convention recently held at Cinnamon Lakeside. 

Vivian and Rupa are two senior singers who have been in the industry for more than five decades and two prominent singing sensations that have won the hearts of many. Among the singing, is the football legend, P.D. Sirisena, a former Sri Lankan football captain and national coach who dedicated his life towards finessing football in Sri Lanka.

Commenting on this, HNB Assurance Acting CEO Niranjan Manickam said, “It is a privilege for HNB Assurance to reward these legendary icons of yesteryear currently facing difficult circumstances. These vibrant personalities have committed their lives for the betterment of music and sports. Their hard work and dedication should be recognised widely, throughout the years; we as an insurance company thought of appreciating these legends and we wanted to hand in a token of appreciation to reward them with a special souvenir and a cash prize.”
