Home Lands shares joy of New Year season

Celebrating the Sinhala and Tamil New Year 2017, Home Lands Group organised the annual ‘Avurudu Udanaya’ and Home Lands Premier League with the staff and their families on 10 April at Buddhadasa Ground, Battaramulla.

The celebration was decorated with traditional events such as Kana Mutti, Tug of War, Spoon race Andhayata Kiri kawima, Banis Kama, Awurudu Kamari and Kumaraya and many other events. 

Parallel to the New Year celebration, Home Lands Premiere League also took place at the same venue. Everyone was able to not only celebrate the New Year but also to feel the heat of the cricket match. 

The event was successfully organised. Everyone could see the abundant smiles and laughter throughout the day.
