Bringing all the colours of the rainbow into homes and schools for over 50 years, Homerun Pas pastels recently held a fun and colourful children’s art competition in Anuradhapura, with the objective of bringing the joy of art and colouring to the children of the district.

Organised together with the Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation and the Anuradhapura Zonal Education Division, the competition was held in connection with the Poson Poya. Over 1,000 children between the ages of 5 yrs to 16 yrs segmented to four categories created colourful art based on the subject of Poson Poya, at the competition which was held at the premises of the Ruwanweli Maya Seya.

The competition yielded stunning artistic creations and imaginative use of colours, highlighting the latent talent and creativity of the children, which Homerun aims to discover and nurture through competitions of this nature. Participants of the 20 pictures judged to be best in each category received gifts and certificates recording their achievements, while all participants received a certificate of participation.

For over five decades, Homerun has striven to put smiles on the faces of children with colours that bring happiness, through the brand’s renowned high quality range of pastels. A household name in Sri Lanka, Homerun Pas has nurtured a love of creativity, art and colour in generations of school children.
