Laugfs Eco Sri donates 10,000 books

LAUGFS Eco Sri (Pvt) Limited, a company directly involved  in protecting the environment by conducting emission tests on motor vehicles, undertook the task of donating 10,000 school exercise books to be distributed among schoolchildren displaced by the recent floods in the North Central Province.

Chairman of Laugfs Holdings Limited W.K.H. Wegapitiya handed over school exercise books to Environment Minister Anura Priyadarshana Yapa at a simple ceremony held at the Ministry office on Thursday.

Commenting at the ceremony, Wegapitiya said: “Laugfs, being a truly Sri Lankan company, is very privileged to participate in this national cause in empowering the children who lost their school books due to the recent floods.”

Laugfs Eco Sri (Pvt) Ltd. CEO U.U. Navarathne and Project Manager Saliya Dissanayake also participated in the ceremony.
