LB Finance PLC is a financial giant in Sri Lanka with an impressively developed history, which currently operates with island wide branch net work. As a leading financial institution in the country LB finance PLC has understood its responsibility towards the society.
LB Finance believes that the education is the most valuable wealth that we can provide to next generation and our schools are the cornerstone of our society. To implement this belief LB Finance joined together with the Society of Science of University of Colombo to carry out a project for Polonnaruwa District O/L students.
LB Finance donated model exam paper books and past paper exam books for the 800 students for science and mathematics subjects with the intention of giving a small relief and a strength to those students who live in this areas.
LB Finance also organised a series of seminars for these students for mathematics and science subjects getting the help of the Science Society of the University of Colombo. Last year LB Finance carried out this type of seminar series for the students of Monaragala District.
Through these CSR activities LB Finance intends to enhance the livelihood of these underprivileged rural areas towards a better future.
