Macbertan support children’s education

Macbertan Ltd., the pioneer manufacturer of reflective heat insulation ‘McFoil’, distributed school books to the children of their factory workforce at a simple ceremony held recently. Macbertan received the Platinum Award at the recently concluded Industries Excellence Awards conducted by the Sri Lanka Institute of Small and Medium Industries and received a cash prize of Rs. 100,000 from SLCSMI for this achievement.

The management of Macbertan decided to donate the Platinum Award prize money, towards the company’s numerous CSR projects one of which is distribution of school books to children of factory workers. Other CSR projects of Macbertan include providing of gym equipment to Abimansala – the facility for disabled soldiers of the Sri Lanka Army.
