‘Marina’ New Year gifts make ‘Ananda Asiri Avurudu Siri’ more meaningful

Cherubium Lanka Head of Sales and Brands Denzil Perera presenting a ‘Marina’ Aluth Avurudu gift pack to chief guest Prof. J.B. Dissanayake. Ananda College Principal Kithsiri Liyanagamage and Primary Section Principal Damayanthi Kodituwakku are also present ‘Ananda Asiri Avurudu Siri’, the New Year festival of the Primary Section of Ananda College, a leading Buddhist school in Colombo, was held at its playground recently. The chief guest at the event held under the guidance of Ananda College Principal Kithsiri Liyanagamage and Primary Section Principal Damayanthi Kodituwakku, was Prof. J.B. Dissanayake, an Emeritus Professor and one of the leading authorities on Sri Lankan Culture and Sinhala Language. An old boy of Ananda College, he served as the Sri Lankan Ambassador to Thailand at one time. Buddhist TV Director – Programs Shashika Jayatilleka was a special invitee at this ‘Aluth Avurudu’ festival. Cherubium Lanka, a leading Sri Lankan company, distributed ‘Marina’ Aluth Avurudu gift packs amongst the staff of Ananda College on the occasion.
