New employee medical clinic at Taj Samudra Colombo

Medical Clinics play an important role in catering to the primary health care needs of every community. The management of Taj Samudra Colombo once again strived towards maintaining a high standard of employee care by launching a medical clinic to cater to the needs of all employees. The Taj Samudra Medical Clinic was declared open on 27 June by Area Director (Sri Lanka) and General Manager Rohit Khosla. The opening ceremony of the clinic commenced with the traditional oil lamp being lit by Khosla as well as a host of dignitaries including Dr. Laxman L. Weerasena, Dr. Asela Anthony, Dr. Mohamed Haroom and Dr. Kanishka Weerasena along with all the heads of departments at Taj Samudra Colombo with the hopes of each and every employee leading a healthy life. In delivering the welcome speech, Assistant Human Resource Manager Vajira Kulathunga stated that the objective of such a clinic was to have a healthy and motivated work force which has the capability of maintaining the high standards of the hotel and to continuously strive towards becoming the best hotel in Sri Lanka. A special vote of thanks was given by one of the much valued employees, Sister Nishadi Buddhika, who has always been a great support to all. The ceremony concluded with the inaugural medical examination conducted by Dr. Weerasena and with the management wishing everyone a healthy life.
