NoLimit partners Zoo to celebrate Children’s Day

NoLimit has generously stepped forward to support the National Zoological Garden in their World Children’s Day celebrations on 1 October 2013. The leading fashion retail chain offered to partner the national zoological garden to ensure that the World Children’s Day 2013 celebrations exceeds expectations and falls within the purview of its community activities is committed to, giving back to society and adding value to stakeholders. The event played host to over 3,200 children from 130 orphanages island-wide who have been invited to visit the zoo on this day. Further, the event was graced by Minister for Botanical Gardens and Public Recreation Jayaratna Herath along with many other dignitaries. Akeel Lattif, Marketing Manager of NoLimit, said: “As one of the prime sponsors of this event, we gifted 8,000 text books, among many other gifts such as water dispensers, sporting goods and equipment along with gift vouchers and other complements. Our contribution towards this event was solely to bring a smile to every child on this special day. Many youngsters enjoyed the magic shows, bouncy castles while they played and hung out with mascots to their hearts consent. There were many events performed by various animals which were scheduled throughout the day along with a host of quiz competitions and art contests. This was one of the most heartwarming occasions to witness.” He further commented: “Children are the future of the nation and we believe that nurturing a happy and healthy mindset will go a long way in raising confident children. We are delighted to have this chance to bring joy to all children who attended the World Children’s Day celebrations. This provided an ideal opportunity for families to bond and share some quality time with each other, away from the demands of busy daily lives. We beckon the child in every adult by holding several entertainment activities for parents too!”
