People’s Bank awards top GCE O/Level achievers

People’s Bank recently felicitated students who were ranked All-Island top 10 at the recently concluded G.C.E. (O/L) Examination. The felicitation ceremony was held at the Presidential Secretariat in Colombo under the auspices of President Maithripala Sirisena.

At the event, People’s Bank rewarded students who performed exceptionally at the G.C.E. O/Level Examination with exciting cash prizes.

Minister of Education Akila Viraj Kariyawasam, State Minister of Education Seduvel Sami Radhakrishnan, Ministry of Education Secretary W.M. Bandusena, Commissioner General of Examinations W.M.N.J. Pushpakumara, People’s Bank Chief Executive Officer/General Manager N. Vasantha Kumar, Deputy General Manager (Process Management and Quality Assurance) Renuka Jayasinghe, People’s Bank Assistant General Manager (Retail Banking) Sunil Ilukkumbura and well-wishers including principals, teachers and parents of the top performers graced the occasion.
