People’s Bank holds 8th consecutive Poson Bodhu Gee

The eighth consecutive Poson Bodhu Gee of People’s Bank conducted by the bank staff was ceremoniously held at the Anuradhapura Ruwanwelisaya on Poson Poya Day.
Members of People’s Bank Arts Circle and staff members of the North Central, Central, Uva and North Western and Vanni zones along with staff members from the Vanni area sang Bodhu Gee at the festival. It was heartening to witness the staff members of People’s Bank in the Vanni areas singing Sinhalese Bodhu Gee.
The occasion was attended by the Chief Incumbent of the Ruwanveli Maha Seya Venerable Pallegama Hemarathana Thero, Governor of the North Central Province Karunarathne Divulgane, Chief Minister of the North Central Province S.M. Ranjith, Government Ministers Susil Premajayantha, S.M. Chandrasena, Mayor of Anuradapura, H.P. Somadasa and the District Secretary of Anuradapura Mahinda Senerath. People’s Bank Chairman Gamini S. Senarath, Chief Executive Officer/General Manager N. Vasantha Kumar together with the corporate and executive management and the staff of People’s Bank were also present at the festival.
