People’s Bank initiates support for flood victims across Sri Lanka

As torrential rains recently wreaked havoc across 15 districts in the island, People’s Bank expeditiously contributed aid to victims. Relief supplies donated by People’s Bank staff were loaded onto a number of lorries and delivered to those affected in the Galle, Matara, Ratnapura and Kalutara Districts as well as some other affected areas in the island. 

This community service activity was championed by People’s Bank Chairman Hemasiri Fernando and Chief Executive Officer/General Manager N. Vasantha Kumar with the kind contribution of the staff of People’s Bank branches island-wide.
