People’s Bank named main sponsor of Dalada Perahera

People’s Bank has come forward as the main sponsor of the historic Kandy Esala Perahera this year as well. The sponsorship cheque was handed over by People’s Bank Director Piyadasa Kudabalage to Pradeep Nilanga Dela, Diyawadane Nilame at Sri Dalada Maligawa recently. This special occasion was graced by the Assistant General Manager – Central Zone of People’s Bank, R.M.S.B. Rathnayake, Regional Manager of Kandy, Ranjith Koddithuwakku and Kandy Branch Manager Kapila Dissanayake.
Pradeep Nilanga Dela, Diyawadane Nilame of the Sri Dalada Maligawa expressed his gratitude to People’s Bank for its support rendered towards showcasing the pageantry of this cultural festival to the world which continues to preserve a rich heritage.
The final Randoli Perahera will be telecast live on Rupavahini on 20 August at 8.20 p.m. together with the devoted support of People’s Bank.
