Pointing to Sri Pada; next destination of Pada Yathra

The India-born Buddhist spiritual leader Gyalwang Drupka, who is an active proponent of peace, visited the Mahathero Dewalegama Dhammasasena of Tissamaharama Vihara during the Pada Yahtra which began on 6 March from Kirivehera, Kataramaga, with the patronage of President Mahinda Rajapakse.

Gyalwang Drupka and his team of disciples will walk 8,000 steps today and continue with 4,000 steps tomorrow to visit Sri Pada, which will be the next destination of the Pada Yathra.
