The Mahaweli Reach Hotel, Kandy marked the historic Poson Poya Day with the recital of bakthi geetha by members of its staff, paying homage to Lord Buddha and his teachings. The scene of the momentous meeting between King Devanampiyatissa and Arahat Mahinda, as he brought the Buddhist philosophy to the island, was recreated by the Housekeeping Department and served as the unique setting for this performance
