Rhino Roofing Products starts off year by giving back to society

Rhino Roofing Products Ltd. made a special contribution to the students of the Southern Province recently. The event which was held at the Technical College Auditorium in Galle was attended by the company’s Marketing Manager Priyantha Jayasinghe, National Sales Manager Mahinda de Silva, Production Manager Mangala Liyanarachchi, Quality Assurance Manager Duminda Hettiarachchi, Divisional Sales Manager Sampath Hewa and other senior officials.

Out of the 2016 allocation for CSR programs a large portion has been allocated to support tertiary education in the island. As a result of that a program was initiated at technical colleges spread across the island. The first phase of this program was held at the technical college in Maradana.

Under the second phase of the program students studying construction related subjects at the technical college in Galle were provided with necessary equipment. The students were also provided with an in-depth knowledge of chrysotile fibre cement roofing and zinc aluminium roofing sheets manufactured by the company.
