Sampath Bank provides relief to drought affected villages in Medirigiriya

Sampath Bank’s CSR program endowed 1,000 litre water tanks to the drought affected 162 villages in Medirigiriya in the Polonnaruwa District. This project is initiated as a motive to provide relief to people who are faced with untold hardships due to severe drought. Officials from Sampath Bank and officials of the Polonnaruwa Divisional Secretariat Office participated in the ceremonial handing over of tanks.
