Seylan Bank makes two significant humanitarian contributions

Seylan Bank continues to be in the forefront of activities pertaining to CSR, stemming from its desire to fulfil its obligations to the society which it serves.

Recently Seylan Bank responded to two humanitarian appeals made by the First Lady Shiranthi Wickramasinghe Rajapaksa. 

The initial contribution was for a sum of Rs. One million towards the purchase of a CT scanner for the Lady Ridgeway hospital, a project under the patronage of the Carlton Suwa Udana Programme.  

A further sum of Rs. 500,000 was made towards the medical expenses of Nushara Maduwanthi to undergo an Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplantation at the Christian Medical College, Vellore, Tamilnadu, India.
