Standard Chartered supports and funds eye care services

Standard Chartered Bank’s CEO Anirvan Ghosh Dastidar with First Lady Madam Shiranthi Rajapakse and Minister for Health Maithripala Sirisena at the distribution of spectacles to school children organized by Vision 2020 of the Ministry of Health at Excel World on 15th January 2011.

Standard Chartered supports and funds eye care services to address curable blindness under its Seeing is Believing global sustainability project. In Sri Lanka approximately 210,000 children have been screened for refractive eye errors with more than 20,000 spectacles distributed to date.
