Standing by the John Keells pledge ‘I Will Care’ the team joined by General Manager Denis Gruhier, worked tirelessly together to restore the mosque to its former glory.

Beginning with the main structure, the volunteers white washed the front of the mosque cleaning the existing algae, painted the front gate and side wall. Work continued until 5:30 in the evening with the team clearing the overgrown garden which stretched over four acres.

General Manager Denis Gruhier was proud of his team for completing the circle of restoring four religious institutions in one year.
