Tokyo Cement sponsors All-Island Schools Quiz Program

The Tokyo Cement Group presents the All Island Schools Quiz Program with the intention of promoting the pursuit of academic excellence and stimulating education through healthy competition.

The national program will be coordinated in partnership with the Ministry of Education and produced by Swarnavahini. The signing of the MOU to announce the partnership was held at Isurupaya in the presence of the Minister of Education. With Rs. 5.2 million in prize money on offer, the quiz program will see the participation of schools across the country. Here, Anura Dissanayake – Additional Secretary to the President, Gotabaya Jayaratne – Secretary, Ministry of Education and Minister of Education Bandula Gunawardene, S.R. Gnanam, Managing Director, Tokyo Cement Group, Edwin Ariyadasa and Buddika Kulasekara – Executive Director, Swarnavahini at the signing of the MOU.
