VSIS successfully concludes blood donation camp

VS Information Systems (VSIS) successfully completed a blood donation on 30 October. The event was held in the VSIS office premises located at Suleiman Terrace, Jawatte. The blood donation camp was organised by the VSIS Staff Welfare Association with the support of the National Blood Transfusion Service. 

The prime objective of this event was to help needy patients by providing required blood. The donors included the staff and families of Vidya Shilpa Information Systems, VSIS customers and the general public. 

“Over 80 donors donated blood at the blood donation camp. We are thankful to each individual who came forward to donate blood which in turn would save many lives. We cannot produce blood. It is a gift we all have inside of us to give to those who are injured, sick, or in need,” stated VSIS Staff Welfare Association President Lakmal Sameera De Silva.
