Wellawatte Nithyakalyani Jewellery and Rotary Club of Colombo East organise mega blood and eye donat

Wellawatte Nithyakalyani Jewellery together with Rotary Club of Colombo East organised a mega blood and eye donation campaign at the Wellawatte Nithyakalyani office further extending its duty to support the needy at large. Over 150 individuals participated at this event. Wellawatte Nithyakalyani has an employee base of over 150, including customer support.

With its beginning in 1978 with three employees it has transformed to a leader in the Sri Lankan Jewellery market with focus on Diamond Jewellery, Platinum Jewellery and Gem Stone Jewellery. The company includes a fully functioning factory with over 65 technicians. It started exporting in the late 90s further expanding its horizons in to the international market, to countries like UK, USA, Australia, Canada, Switzerland, Denmark and Dubai. Nithyakalyani CEO A.P. Jayarajah said, “We treat this project as our service and commitment to the needy society and we are happy to initiate such an event together with the Rotary Club of Colombo East, eye bank and the blood bank of SriLanka.”
