YMCA Moratuwa conducts blood donation campaign and free medical clinic

The YMCA Moratuwa successfully conducted its fourth Annual Blood Donation Campaign and a free Medical Clinic for the second year in succession at its premises recently. The medical clinic offered free consultation, free drugs and free testing of ears, eyes and blood sugar. Nearly 300 persons from the Moratuwa area benefited from this meritorious project and expressed their appreciation towards this initiative. 

A special feature of this project was the generous sponsorship offered by a range of organisations such as Vision Care Optical Services Ltd., George Steuart Health Ltd., Ceylinco Insurance – Piliyandala Branch, Moratuwa Y’s Mens’ Club, Astron Lanka Ltd., Russel’s Group of Companies, Fair Pharma Ltd., Kanrich Finance Company – Moratuwa Branch, Maliban Biscuit Manufactories Ltd., Lyceum International College – Panadura, Country Style Ltd., Prince of Wales College Parents’ Association and individual benefactors of the YMCA Moratuwa.
