Alumni Association of University of Peradeniya – Colombo holds 31st AGM

The 31st Annual General Meeting of the Alumni Association of University of Peradeniya – Colombo Chapter (AAUPCC) was held on 6 March at BMICH. The meeting was conducted as a hybrid event and the Chief Guest was University of Peradeniya Vice Chancellor Professor M.D. Lamawansa. Lanka Transformers Ltd. Chief Executive Officer Eng. M.J.M.N. Marikka was the Guest of Honour.

The following Office Bearers were elected for the term 2022/2023:

S.M. Gnanarathna Treasurer

D. Jayasekara, G.H.P. Dharmaratna, K.H.M.S. Premalal, W.G.T.N. Gunawardana and P. Siyambalapitiya – Vice Presidents

Neliya Fernando and W.H.M.C. Weerasinghe – Asst. Secretaries

R. Karunaratne – Asst. Treasurer

P. Balasingham, Sujatha Karunaratne and Godwin Perera – Co-Editors

Hasantha Palihakkara – Coordinator

Thirty-one members were also elected as the Members of Management Council.
