Mercury Business Academy honours outstanding A/L achievers at annual graduation

Untitled-7 Untitled-8Mercury Business Academy is the leading tuition provider for the London Ordinary Level and Advanced Level commerce classes in both the Cambridge and Edexcel syllabuses with two branches in Dehiwala and Wattala. The Directors, who are also the academy’s lecturers, are Rikzy Eesa, Rimas Eesa, Wasim Imtiasz, Sameer Anis and Farlan Hussain. All of them are full-time lecturers teaching at leading international schools as well as guiding students toward professional qualifications. These lecturers are well-known for producing many Cambridge and Edexcel Advanced Level world and Sri Lankan prize-winners over the past three years. The annual graduation for 2016’s Advanced Level students, sponsored by Mercury, was held on 25 July at the Ramada Hotel Colombo with award ceremonies, student performances, etc.

The Chief Guests for the event were Nilusha Ranasinghe - Country Manager ACCA and Jeevith Shakespeare - Managing Director Mercury Institute of Management. The prize-winners for Accounting Cambridge were Nisali Dayananda, A s h faq Bar ry and Ch a l u k i Sugathadasa. The Accounting Edexcel prize-winners were Abdul Basith Mukthar, Fazmir Fulail and Saadiya Hassan. The prize-winners for Cambridge Ec o n o m i c s we re S h a n j a n a Muthukumar, Kithma Gamalath and Hansani Weerasinghe and the Edexcel Economics winner was Hanzalah Haroon. Students who claimed prizes for Cambridge Business Studies were Mushtaq Mumawwer, Sakeenah Juzar and Deekshika Manoharan while Faiq Mubarak won a prize for Edexcel Business Studies.
