The Overseas School of Colombo had its Primary Visual Arts Exhibition from 9 to 11 May at the school premises. This was held to coincide with the Student-led Conference where the students share their learning with parents and the school community. On display was artwork such as paintings, collages, models, and installations using a variety of recycled material. The art exhibited was linked to the classroom Units of Inquiry which was part of the teaching.
T h e O S C P r i m a r y Multipurpose Room was transformed into myriad of colour, to showcase the talents of students from Kindergarten to Grade 5. OSC is regarded the most prestigious international school in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Founded in 1957, OSC remains Sri Lanka’s oldest internationally accredited educational institution. It is the only school in Sri Lanka to offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme from Pre-school to Grade 12.
