‘Fragments of Nature’ exhibition tomorrow, to help cancer patients

Fragments of Nature, an exhibition and sale of selected colour photographs by Chitra Premaratne Stuiver, will be held tomorrow (26) in Colombo.

The event is aimed at raising funds for the Shantha Sevana Hospice for cancer patients in Maharagama. The hospice is managed by the Sri Lanka Cancer Society.

Chitra has held several exhibitions of her photographs in Honolulu and Colombo. A collection of Chitra’s photographs have been published in 2013 under the theme of ‘Art in Nature: Colour Pattern Texture’.

She has also been involved in the literary field since 2003 after she moved to Sri Lanka from the US to spend her retirement years.

The exhibition of Chitra’s photographs will be held on 26 May from 10 a.m. onwards at the Sri Lanka Cancer Society located at No. 37/25, Buller’s Lane, Colombo 7. For inquiries please call 0112585879 or 0112714292.
