Natya Kala Mandhir, School of Bharathanatyam presents ‘Vaathsalya’ – Classical Dance Recital, choreographed and directed by ‘Kalasuri’ Smt. Vasugy Jegatheeswaran which will be staged on 21 October, Saturday at 5 p.m., at New Kathiresan Hall, Bambalapitiya.

Chief Minister of Northern Province Justice C.V. Wigneswaran will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest, Rajshree Behera Director – Indian Cultural Center, High Commission of India as the Guest of Honour, Vadivel Suresh – Member of Parliament and Santhosh Varma, Counsellor for India as special guests.

Natya Kala Mandhir was founded in the year 1976 by Kalasuri Smt. Vasugy Jegatheeswaran and has been producing many talented and professional dancers for a span of last 40 years. Also, numerous dance performances and dance dramas have been produced and staged by Natya Kala Mandhir.
