Amaradhwani on Saturday at BMICH

• Dialog partners OSCA to seed insurance scheme for musicians

Sri Lanka’s premier connectivity provider, Dialog Axiata, has stepped in as the main sponsor of ‘Amaradhwani’, an evening of songs with Pandith Amaradeva, which will take place on Saturday 14 February, at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH), Colombo 07. Veteran artistes, Edward Jayakody, Amarasiri Peiris and a host of other singers will also perform along with the maestro. ‘Amaradhwani’ is organised by the OSCA (Outstanding Song Creators’ Association) to uplift the Sri Lankan music industry, and part of the proceeds will be utilised to finance an insurance scheme for its member musicians.
