The Guitar Association of Sri Lanka in collaboration with Asian Guitar Federation (India) and the Indian Cultural Centre is working to have a series of workshops and concerts to popularise classical guitar music in Sri Lanka. The workshops are conducted by Dr. Paul Cesraczyk of USA.
Dr. Paul Cesarczyk has been the recipient of the prestigious Andres Segovia award, The Aaron Copland prize from ASCAP, The Artists International Award, and many prestigious awards world over. He has also performed in many music festivals and concerts.
Dr. Cesarczyk was educated in New York city public school and received his bachelors and Masters degree from Manhattan School of music. He completed a doctor of Musical Arts degree at the State University of New York. Since 2009 Dr. Cesarczyk serves as the department chair at Mahidol University, College of Music in Thailand.
