Cathay Pacific Airways presents ‘Life Well Travelled’ exhibition by Hong Kong’s Gloria Chung in aid

Cathay Pacific Airways will partner with Colombo based Hong Kong artist Gloria Chung to present an exhibition of art titled ‘Life Well Travelled’ on 18 June at the Zylan Luxury Villa, 115 Rosmead Place, Colombo 7 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Entrance tickets are prized at Rs. 500 and may be purchased at the venue. Each entry ticket stands a chance to win a return ticket to Hong Kong courtesy Cathay Pacific Airways. In addition to the art, there will be souvenirs featuring the artist’s work on sale. 

Cathay Pacific Airways has partnered with artist Gloria Chung, Zylan Luxury Villa, Colombo 7 and will work closely with organisations such as the Nazarene Compassionate Ministries of Lanka that are helping to rebuild the lives of those affected by the recent floods and landslides through longer term projects. 

Country Manager Sri Lanka and Maldives Anna Choi said, “We are a socially responsible company and are committed to contributing towards the community in whatever possible way we can.  We have been deeply saddened by the recent floods and the terrible consequences it had on the people of Sri Lanka. We therefore decided to partner with Hong Kong’s Gloria Chung who will be bringing out the airline’s brand promise of ‘A Life Well-Travelled’ through her art. The proceeds from the event will go towards uplifting the lives of those affected by the recent floods and landslides in Sri Lanka.”

In the recent years, Cathay Pacific Airways has worked closely with several charitable organisations in Sri Lanka. The airline believes in enhancing the quality of life in the communities they operate.
