‘Courage: An Evening of Song & Word’ tomorrow

‘Courage: An Evening of Song & Word’ will be held at Alliance Francaise De Colombo (Barnes Place) tomorrow, 15 October, at 7 p.m. The event is a celebration of music selected from Asela Perera’s discography of EPs and album spanning eight years. Asela is an Indie Singer/Songwriter based in Colombo.

The live performance brings onboard a host of skilled musicians such as Natasha Senanayake on piano and flute, Thishan Wijesinghe on electric guitar, Shalintha Rodrigo on bass guitar, Eshantha Perera on percussion, Shalinda Halpe on acoustic guitar, Lydia Goonetilake on violin and Savini Chandrasinghe on cello. 

The evening will also have highlights such as guest performances by Chrisantha De Silva from the band Salvage and Anushka Senanayake in addition to a very special performance by the Gateway College Dehiwala Choir.
