Despicable Me 2 in theatres from today

Get ready for minion madness as Despicable Me 2, a 3D computer animated comedy film, is ready to hit the theatres in Colombo from 2 August 2013. Imported by Liberty Cinemas Ltd., this animated movie which is sure to keep you rolling with laughter will be screening in Majestic Superior 3D Cinema next week.

Despicable Me 2 is the sequel to the animated movie Despicable Me released in 2010. Entertaining both kids and adults alike, this movie is about a criminal mastermind using a trio of orphan girls as pawn for a grand scheme while Gru, the ex-super villain, is happily adjusting to family life… and an attempted honest living in the jam business. Featuring an interesting series of events, Despicable Me 2 brings together once again Steve Carell, Russel Brand and Miranda Cosgrove who reprise their role as lead characters. Produced by Illumination Entertainment and distributed by Universal Pictures, the film is directed by Pierre Coffin and Chris Renaud and is written by Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio. Having premiered in Australia on 5 June 2013, Despicable Me 2 was theatrically released in the United States on 3 July 2013.
