E FM celebrates good food and great people on Sunday Brunch

Tune in on Sundays, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., as popular E FM radio personality Chrissy cooks up a storm with some of Sri Lanka’s most interesting foodies on the newly launched ‘Sunday Brunch’, an innovative celebration of food on Sri Lanka’s Lifestyle station E FM.

A part of E FM’s exciting and all-new ‘Mega Weekends’ programming, this totally immersive radio experience combines audience interaction with high quality guests. In fact, Sunday Brunch with Chrissy goes beyond discussing food as a product and also features interviews with different kinds of foodies to understand their interests and backgrounds, as well as what made them come up with their own novel concepts.

By delving into anecdotes related to their passions, their work disasters and encompassing very special guests spanning many varied specialties (including not only full time chefs, but also bakers, condiment and juice makers, home caterers or any entrepreneur making his or her way in any facet of the local hospitality industry), Sunday Brunch with Chrissy takes a look at the never before witnessed behind-the-scenes of one of the most fascinating areas central to all our lives - food. 

And to keep E FM audiences further entertained, Chrissy even asks her guests and callers to weigh in on what their own favourite recipes are, while also asking their opinions on music, current events and more, with a special giveaway thrown in for good measure. The latter is frequently a goodie bag or voucher contributed by Chrissy’s most recent special guest, so loyal E FM fans have the chance to enjoy something totally new and just entering the market. 

To date, this unique radio show has already featured Colombo’s most flamboyant foodie, the incomparable Chef Koluu, as well as expert in his field Galle Face Hotel Executive Chef Adam Gaunt-Evans and the co-founders of Flow Health Bar. Savy’s Cakes Owner Chammari Daniel, Jam and Chutney Bottler Shivami Amarasekara and the team from Rocco’s Pizzeria, are also on the books to appear during the next few weeks.
