E FM rewards 20 ‘Room Service with a Twist’ winners

Sri Lanka’s Lifestyle station E FM recently rewarded 20 loyal fans who participated in its ‘Room Service with a Twist’ promotion. This novel undertaking was carried out in conjunction with E FM’s most popular shows, ‘Morning Showgram’ and ‘Alive at 5,’ every weekday throughout July 2016. 

Awarding its victorious callers with a prize each and every week day, the E FM ‘Room Service with a Twist’ promotion required contestants to call in and match their wits against popular E FM Radio Personalities (RPs) Mark Kross, Shaq, Gem and Bless. Participants were, in fact, challenged with role playing the part of an in-house ‘hotel guest’ who was tasked with ordering room service from E FM RPs. To win, callers had to keep up a conversation for more than 30 seconds without using the words “Yes” or “No”, or even repeating words just spoken, which was no easy feat, especially when one accounts for the RPs who are always ready to create mischief. 

However, the prizes on offer were most definitely worth the trouble. Each of the 20 E FM winners ultimately walked away with a one-night stay at a fabulous and luxurious Cinnamon Hotels and Resorts property.
