The ‘Festival of Choirs 2015’, organised by the Western Music Society of Royal College, will take place at 6.00 p.m. on Friday 2 October at the Bishop’s College Auditorium.
Started in 1993, this annual event is the biggest feature in the Sri Lankan schools’ choir calendar. It brings together the choirs of several leading schools and is a highly anticipated event.
Taking part this year are choirs from Asian International School, Visakha Vidyalaya, Elizabeth Moir School, Ladies’ College, Bishop’s College, Methodist College, Wesley College, The British School in Colombo and Royal College.
Tickets are priced at Rs. 600 (Balcony), Rs. 700, Rs. 850 and Rs. 1000 and are available at the venue.
