Sing 3D in Lankan cinemas from today

Sing 3D animation will be released today (30) in three Lankan cinemas – Liberty Lite 3D Colombo, Vista Lite 3D Ja-Ela and Savoy 3D Colombo. 

Sing is an American 3D computer-animated musical comedy film produced by Illumination Entertainment. A koala named Buster Moon has one final chance to restore his theater to its former glory by producing the world’s greatest singing competition.

The film stars the voices of Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Seth MacFarlane, Scarlett Johansson, John C. Reilly, Taron Egerton and Tori Kelly.

The film includes more than 85 classic songs from famous artists, and also has an original song by Stevie Wonder and Ariana Grande called “Faith”.

The story is about Dapper Koala Buster Moon presiding over a once-grand theatre that has fallen on hard times. An eternal optimist, and a bit of a scoundrel, he loves his theatre above all and will do anything to preserve it. Facing the crumbling of his life’s ambition, he takes one final chance to restore his fading jewel to its former glory by producing the world’s greatest singing competition. Five contestants emerge: a mouse, a timid elephant, a pig, a gorilla and a punk-rock porcupine.
