The Amazing Spider-Man 2 premieres in Sri Lanka

The Amazing Spider-Man 2, anticipated to be one of the biggest blockbuster hits of the year, will be released in Sri Lanka by Ceylon Theatres today, 2 May, the same day as its worldwide release. The highly anticipated Hollywood blockbuster is sure to be an action-packed premiere at the Majestic City Platinum Cinema in Colombo and the cinema in Jaffna which was recently opened. Spider-Man fans have the opportunity to spot and photograph the film’s main characters, Spider-Man and Electro as they make appearances around Colombo in the run-up to the premiere. The Amazing Spider-Man is an American superhero film featuring the loved Marvel Comics character Spider-Man. A film by Columbia Pictures, a Sony company the Amazing Spider-Man 2 was directed by Marc Webb and is the sequel to The Amazing Spider-Man which was released in 2012. The start studded cast in the film include Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, Campbell Scott, Embeth Davidtz, Colm Feore, Paul Giamatti and Sally Field.
