173 persons who have joined the service of National Savings Bank have been granted appointments under the patronage of Minister of Finance Ravi Karunanayake recently at the Central Bank Training Centre Auditorium in Rajagiriya. The appointments were granted to a group of employees who have completed a service of seven years as outsourced persons under manpower companies.
National Savings Bank Chairman Aswin de Silva, General Manager/CEO S.D.N. Perera, Deputy General Managers, Assistant General Managers, staff members of the bank and a number of guests were present at the occasion.
Solving the issue of these company employees has been a Budgetary Proposal of the Interim Budget presented by Karunanayake on 29 January and National Savings Bank is the first institution that has granted appointments to its outsourced employees accordingly.
