Union Bank of Colombo PLC (UBC) opened five new ATMs in the Western Province, further expanding on its premise of bringing greater banking convenience to customers across Sri Lanka. The new ATMS are located at Thalahena Junction – Battaramulla, Gorakana – Moratuwa, Modarawila – Panadura, Thalpitiya – Wadduwa and Thalawathugoda. The strategic placements of the five new ATMs will assist the people in these neighbourhoods to carry out their day-to-day banking with greater ease and comfort. LankaPay, Cirrus and Maestro networks that have been enabled on these ATMs enable non-Union Bank customers to access their bank accounts.
The network expansion is an integral part of Union Bank’s ongoing development efforts to position the bank as a fully-fledged commercial bank focusing on the retail, SME and corporate sectors and is aligned to the bank’s new customer-centric approach of delivering greater banking convenience.
