AIA Insurance’s Sarath Jayalal qualifies to MDRT Top of The Table

AIA Insurance congratulates Sarath Jayalal from the Maharagama Regional Office for his outstanding performance in becoming the company’s only Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) Top of The Table (TOT) qualifier in 2019.

His achievement was honoured at the company’s Annual Sales Convention, where AIA’s top performers were recognised for their sales accomplishments for the year. MDRT qualifiers have a special place at the event, as such a recognition was testament to their high calibre. Founded in 1927, MDRT is a global, independent association of the world's leading life insurance and financial services professionals. MDRT members demonstrate exceptional professional knowledge, strict ethical conduct and outstanding client service. Membership is recognised internationally as the standard of excellence in the life insurance and financial services business.

Jayalal, who was recognised as AIA’s Best Wealth Planner in 2018, has consecutively qualified for MDRT membership since 2014 achieving Court of The Table (COT) in 2018 and Top of The Table (TOT) in 2019. COT requires members to demonstrate annual commission of first year premium in to three times the base requirement. TOT is the highest tier of MDRT membership where members must demonstrate annual commission of first year premium in to six times the base requirement. Notably, Jayalal was the only Wealth Planner to achieve this extraordinary feat for the year. He also won an International Quality Award (IQA) in 2019.
