APB holds interbank quiz competition

‘The Interbank Quiz Competition, organised by the Association of Professional Bankers, took place in Kurunegala, a deliberate departure from its usual Colombo venue. 

The primary goal was to promote inclusivity and inspire bankers from regions beyond the capital. The event garnered significant participation from banks, creating an ideal setting for networking and the exchange of knowledge among industry professionals. 

With the involvement of 12 banks and 21 teams, the competition proved to be both well-attended and successful, characterised by intense rivalry. In the end, Hatton National Bank (HNB) emerged as the overall victors, while Bank of Ceylon (BOC) secured 2nd and 3rd positions.
