APB partners Indian Chamber of Commerce Emerging Asia Banking Conclave and Awards

The Emerging Asia Banking Conclave and Awards ceremony organised by the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) took place recently in New Delhi, India under the theme of “Leading in the Digital Paradigm.”

It brought together international speakers, delegates, and regulators from the Bay of Bengal initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Corporation (BIMSTEC) countries to discuss technological advancements and future developments in the banking industry.

The Association of Professional Bankers, Sri Lanka (APB) partnered with ICC for this most prestigious event. A senior delegation from APB comprising President Halin Hettigoda, Senior Vice President Anton Arumugam, Secretary General Anjali Goonathilake, and Immediate Past President B.A.H.S. Preena attended the event.

The Central Bank Deputy Governor A.A.M. Thassim participated as a Guest of Honour while Preena attended as a panellist on the session on Bancassurance.
