Alliance Finance launches new corporate website; children’s savings accounts

Alliance Finance Company PLC (AFC), last week launched its new corporate website and ‘AFC Hapannu’ children’s savings accounts.

AFC Chairperson Tamara Dharmakirti-Herath graced the ceremony as the Chief Guest. Deputy Chairman/Managing Director Romani de Silva, Deputy Managing Director Kusal Jayawardana, Executive Director – Sustainability Mahinda Gunasekera, and Executive Director – Credit Operations and Marketing Ravi Rambukwelle, represented the Board of Directors at the event along with the company’s senior management. AFC Chief Commercial Officer Ajantha Kumara welcomed the invitees at the event. The website www.alliancefinance.lk includes corporate information, investor relations, products and services, and sustainable activities.

Alliance Finance said it has captured the hearts of its loyal and trusted customers throughout the course of its 65-year history as the first NBFI to establish children’s savings accounts in Sri Lanka. To maintain momentum and reinforce the product, the company relaunched ‘AFC Hapannu’ children’s savings accounts to create and strengthen the habit of saving among the country’s future leaders. AFC Hapannu, with its attractive interest rates and reward scheme, will be available through the 86 Alliance Finance branches located countrywide.

During the launch, members of the Board of Directors together with AGM – Deposits Champa Nakandala, handed over new AFC Hapannu savings pass books to a few children and their parents. In conjunction with this event, AFC Hapannu Accounts were launched simultaneously through the AFC branch network island-wide. AFC said it looks forward to continuing its steadfast journey towards a new era in the Sri Lankan finance industry, creating value for diverse stakeholder groups while focusing on its greater vision of making the world a better place through sustainable finance.
